External paving and internal flooring

Dovecote is a pale grey travertine with an open texture and occasional small dark fossils. Dovecote is formed in natural pools and the rising bubbles result in holes in the stone giving it a unique character. The suede finish produces an aged surface with a square edge and good slip resistance which is easily maintained. Dovecote is an extremely hard-wearing stone that can be used in commercial and residential projects. Dovecote can be used to create a seamless transition when used inside and out and can be used with under-floor heating. Swimming pool copings are also available. Dovecote is quarried in Southern Turkey where the local stone has been used to construct buildings and monuments for millennia, including Marmure Castle which dates back to the fourth century.
