Porlock Grey is a mid-grey sandstone with small dark grey particles giving it a unique appearance with minimal colour variation. The linen finish reveals mica particles that reflect light and produces a smooth, lightly textured surface and with a square edge. It has good slip resistance and is easy to maintain. Porlock Grey is a hard-wearing stone and can be used in commercial and residential projects. With low porosity and good frost resistance, Porlock Grey can be used to create a seamless transition when used inside and out and is suitable for use with under-floor heating. Porlock Grey is quarried in the Tuscan region of Italy and has been used for centuries to construct some of the finest buildings in Central Italy, including the Bargello National Museum.
